SPRING CLEANING
As part of spring cleaning, wash and dry all the bathroom shower curtains and liners. Shower liners in good condition can be washed, but if ripped or torn buy a new one; find out if you can recycle your old one. Usually, a gentle wash cycle and a low heat tumble dry work best when washing and drying liners. If you need to replace your existing one, there are thick liners for every type of budget - just shop around. The thicker ones are more durable and can repeatedly be washed - so you will get your money's worth.
Take your time with spring cleaning and never rush a project. It is better to go slowly and clean properly.
FLOOR CLEANING
Cleaning and making floors look like new doesn't have to be a time consuming task. For my home, I wash all floors with water and vinegar. Usually, I use 1 part vinegar to 6 parts water, but you can play around with the concentration of the mixture.
There is no right or wrong way for mixing the solution.
Wash and then completley dry the floors. After the floor has dried, use a recommended floor based product, that is safe for your floor. Floors that no longer have a "good finish" will need refinished. However, you can use the recommended product for covering dents, cracks, and worn finishes on a temporary basis.
![]() Bathroom CleaningWe thoroughly clean and sanitize your bathroom tub, floors, mirrors, and other requested cleaning. And, of course, toilets are one of our specialties. | ![]() Toilet ScrubbingClean all toilets daily, including guest bathrooms, even if not in use. This area gets dirty fast and the dirt readily shows. Furthermore, odors can fill your home, including smells from pet litter boxes. Keep those boxes clean. Your pet will love you for it! |

DAILY CLEANING
For a quick cleaning idea, take a damp cloth and moisten all the areas of the toilet with your favorite cleaning solution. Leave the solution on for several minutes - then wipe the area dry with paper towels or a clean cloth, if you prefer.
It only takes minutes to clean and will be ready when guests arrive unexpectedly. Always maintain your bathroom since this area gets dirty fast and its imperfections show rather quickly.
![]() Spa BathAfter each use, run clean water through the system for ensuring there is no leftover residue and for maintaining your spa bath tub. This simple technique will keep it in excellent operating order for years to come. | ![]() Spa RoomSteam can kill many germs but not in spas. Spas can quickly accumulate bacteria when not in use or shortly after use. Be sure to sanitize and dry all spa areas regularly to keep bacteria at bay. | ![]() Scrubbing the SinkWhen scrubbing the sink, use a green cleaning product and a tooth brush around the knobs. This method forces bacteria out and it easily rinses down the drain. |

GREEN CLEANING METHODS
Mix 1/2 cup hot water, 2 tablespoons baking soda, and enough lemon juice to make a paste. Rub the paste all around the sink - this will remove stains, cleanse the sink, and make the whole kitchen smell fresh. Rinse with hot water until you completely remove all the paste. It does take a few rinses, and the sink may get more suds for a little while.
Cleaning with lemon is one of my favorite citrus products since it smells so fresh! It also sanitizes by killing odor causing bacteria and a variety of germs. Lemon is affordable and great to cook with as well. Lime, vinegar, and just plain hot water are all green cleaning methods, which are safe for you, your pets, and our environment.
